Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag has also watched the film and shared his reaction. Sehwag said that although it may not be possible to capture the full impact of Baba Neem Karoli in a single film, Hanuman Ansh offers a glimpse of his influence. He said that those who know Maharaj ji should definitely watch the film.

Sehwag has also become an admirer of the film after watching it. He shared a video on his Instagram account in which he discussed Baba Neem Karoli’s influence and gave his views on the film.
Reviewing Hanuman Ansh, Sehwag wrote in the post accompanying the video, “Maharaj ji’s divine ways are very unique. It may perhaps be impossible to understand him, but it is certainly possible to feel his grace…”
The video begins with Sehwag saying, “Sita-Ram.” He then discusses Baba Neem Karoli’s influence and the film based on his life.
Sehwag said, “Around 10 years ago, a friend told me about Maharaj ji and his divine ways. Since then, I have continued reading and hearing about him. I have had a remarkable attraction towards Maharaj ji ever since.”
The former explosive batsman further said, “Maharaj ji’s personality, his compassion and his grace, and the transformation he brought about in his devotees, show what he was. He would connect with a person’s true self without telling them or making it apparent. The biggest thing is that Maharaj’s grace and his divine ways can still be seen in the lives of his devotees even 53 years after he left his physical body.”
